Alejandra Saenz, MOT, OTR
Founder of Everbloom Therapy & Wellness
I am a licensed occupational therapist with a deep passion for hand therapy and a strong belief in the body's ability to heal through purposeful, individualized care. My academic journey began at the University of Texas at El Paso, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science in 2012. I initially planned to become a dentist and was accepted into dental school at the Recinto de Ciencias Médicas in San Juan, Puerto Rico. However, life events shifted my path and helped me realize that occupational therapy was my passion. I later returned to UTEP and earned my Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in 2023.
My dedication to hand therapy is both clinical and deeply personal. After sustaining a complex injury to my dominant right hand, I underwent five surgeries and faced a long, challenging rehabilitation journey. Through occupational therapy, I slowly regained function, strength, and confidence. That experience gave me a profound appreciation for how vital our hands are to independence and identity and it shaped my commitment to helping others reclaim their ability to engage in meaningful daily activities.
Out of this journey, Everbloom Therapy & Wellness was born, a name that symbolizes growth, resilience, and the ability to thrive despite adversity. Just like a flower that continues to bloom after a harsh season, Everbloom represents healing, renewal, and the strength we find through recovery. What began as a vision rooted in personal experience has grown into a mission-driven practice dedicated to empowering others with compassionate, one-on-one care.
At Everbloom, I will be treating any condition that is affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. I believe that true recovery requires both expert guidance and active patient participation. That's why I emphasize education and consistency in home exercise programs because the effort between sessions is just as important as the care provided in the clinic.
I am also committed to continued professional growth and excellence in the field. I am actively pursuing advanced training in hand therapy and regularly take continuing education courses to expand my clinical knowledge and skills. My goal is to obtain the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in the future so I can continue providing the highest standard of care to my patients.

During our handwriting groups, children focus on developing essential foundational skills, including proper formation of uppercase and lowercase letters, appropriate letter sizing, and correct spacing between letters and words. As they progress, children further refine their letter formation with an emphasis on lowercase letters and learn proper alignment when writing complete sentences. To ensure individualized attention and effective learning, group sizes are limited and organized by skill level. All sessions are led by a licensed occupational therapist with experience in pediatric care. Participation is open to all children. Individual occupational therapy services are not required to enroll.
